Cool Water Ranch

Cool Water Ranch is a private trophy stream located on historic Cedar Creek, just one hour away from the Washington, D.C. metro area. We maintain two miles of trout water, located on a family farm just west of Winchester, Virginia.

Cool Water Ranch is limited to fly-fishing and catch and release only. We are stewards of these pristine waters, and strive to create the healthiest possible environment for the trout.

We limit the number of rods to assure uncrowded water and a relaxing, private day on the stream.

Our waters are perfect for solo fisherman, groups of friends & family, or small corporate events.

We offer expert private and group fly fishing lessons, available on the creek at the Ranch. If you’re interested in lessons, please reach out to us directly to add them to your rod reservation.
